EXIT PROJECT
The purpose of this project was to create a mock ad campaign for Spotify. The goal was to make a commercial about how music unites all of humanity. Curating all the content and sequencing everything together to achieve my vision for the impact and vibe of the ad was one of the coolest projects I have ever worked on.

ABOUT ME.
EMILY KATHRYN PEE
I was raised in Athens, GA where I fell in love with loud music, small town traditions, and humid afternoons. After graduating from the University of Georgia with a degree in Graphic Design, I headed to Atlanta to pursue a career in the creative industry. I love over-analyzing movies, discovering music, watching commercials (on purpose), taking pictures, writing, driving around with my dogs and creating art that resonates with people. Feel free to contact me and thanks for stopping by!

SOCIAL.
Working for IHG has lent me the unique opportunity to create digital assets for some of the largest hotel brands in the hospitality industry. The ever-changing landscape of social media is an exciting canvas with which to work: constantly finding new and creative ways to build brand identity and loyalty and engage with our followers. Below are some examples of social-specific projects I’ve worked on.
Cyber Sale 2020
It’s no secret travel looks different in 2020. Which means travel marketing has to look different too. I had the idea that instead of pushing sales rates this year, we could focus on a more aspirational approach with a more editorial aesthetic. I wanted to inspire travel, even if its for the future. I was given complete creative liberty with this campaign, so I was able to source the images, design the layout and write the copy they way I felt conveyed the company’s message the best. It was a ton of fun pushing the envelope visually to develop a new look and feel for our brands on social.
IHG 2019 GIFT GUIDE
A colleague and I pitched the idea for a Gift Guide to encourage people to give the gift of travel leading up to the holidays in conjunction with our annual Cyber Sale as an opportunity to showcase some of our most unique and special properties. We were granted some paid media budget and practically free reign creatively, resulting in a cross-platform approach that garnered a good deal of engagement and drove viewers to a blog detailing the featured properties as well as to booking pages. This project was both extremely fun and rewarding, and we were honored to be featured in Pinterest’s “Best in Class Creative” presentation.
Quarantine Era IG Stories
With nearly all travel halted, we were tasked with finding ways to engage with our guests and followers in a sensitive, aspirational way. We sought to quickly crank out content across all brands and platforms to keep the conversation around travel going despite the current circumstances.
City Lights CAMPAIGN
A cross-brand sale encouraging travel to select cities. In addition to digital placements promoting the campaign, we developed creative for paid social that would drive viewers to a blog containing travel tips for the participating regions.
Holiday Inn & Holiday Inn Express “We’re There” Campaign
Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express launched their first ever co-branded campaign this year centered around being there for people during life’s many important moments and milestones. The campaign leveraged television, cinema, digital and social placements. I contributed to our paid and organic social spots, including designing the “hash flag” for our Twitter promotion.
